I just watched the newest episode of Dexter. Rita just found out that he still has his apartment from before they were married. She and Deb are acting like they just caught him molesting children or stealing from old people or something.

There was an essay at the Spearhead a few days ago about how men need their “caves”, private space of their own, and how most women can’t understand this and insist on intruding. My grandfather died ten years ago and his wife and daughter are still complaining about him retreating to his mancave. It was in his mancave that he did the work that provided for them, but that doesn’t seem to matter. I doubt they even understand that.

Being Dexter, he doesn’t know how to deal with this. Most men these days who haven’t studied Roissy and Mystery et al wouldn’t. He’s responding by trying to supplicate, just what PUAs urge men not to do. Is the message here that women can hold a serial killer by the balls and prevail? Just what the sicko women who fall in love with guys on death row need to be told.

Rita told Dexter to sleep in his apartment that night – not, you know, in the house he bought for her and the kids – and if he wanted to stay married, they were going to have to “do some serious work” on their marriage.

This stupid bimbo has had two disastrous marriages and has spent years struggling to support and care for her children. Now she’s married to a guy who is always there to take care of everything, who is able to support her and her kids in a comfortable fashion for the first time in their lives, who doesn’t hit her or the kids, and she’s pissed because he needs a little bit of time on his own? A man doesn’t have to be a serial killer to need his own space.

I really wanted him to say, “I’m sleeping in the house I paid for tonight. If you have a problem with me keeping my apartment, you can move back into your old three-room house and get a crummy job like the one you had before I married you.”

But of course, he couldn’t, and we all know what the courts would have done if he had tried to hold onto his own property like that.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The young woman found in 2007 in a backwoods trailer in West Virginia, where she said she had been held captive and raped, recanted her story on Wednesday.

A blog and another bit of bad news

Here’s a new MRA blog that looks promising:

Men Are Angry Now

I was just looking through my local newspaper and there’s a big ad. Women who want to work outdoors, in road work crews and stuff like that, are offered free training.

No free training is offered to men, naturally. They’re just doing this to make their damn don’t-sue-us quota.

The Feminist’s Guide To Debate Tactics

One commenter said that I ought to have offered retorts that MRAs could make against these standard feminist “arguments”, but that wasn’t what the satire was about. Someone should write one of those sometime.

To my amusement but not surprise, a feminist calling herself “someone” is trolling the comments, using exactly the lame feminist arguments I was making fun of! Except I forgot to add “outright lies”: she claims, with no support, that Roissy bans people he can’t argue against. Having read a few Roissy comment threads and seen how ridiculous, hostile, and OT they can get, I doubt he bans anybody.

EDIT: Comments made after I made this post showed that “someone” is actually a guy, and has the distinction of being one of the very few people who managed to get banned by Roissy. Read the comments on any of Roissy’s post to get a feel for just how hard that is to do.

Good God.

The Editrix recently linked to this site:

Parents Behaving Badly: Parenting So Bad, It’s Criminal.

I actually visited that site a couple of years ago, but I haven’t been back. The child abuse cases it reports are too horrifying for regular reading.

But the Editrix pointed out something I hadn’t read enough to notice, though I’m not at all surprised: most of the (incredibly sadistic) abusers discussed on this site are mothers. The ones who aren’t, are stepfathers.

Occasionally, if I see a bit of responsible behavior on the part of women, I forget why I hate women so much. Then something like this reminds me.

Father’s rights isn’t about what the dads want, it’s about protecting the children from the vicious creatures who spawned them. It’s time to stop allowing women to rob their children of the protector nature has provided for them: their fathers. Any judge who awards custody to a mother should be convicted of attempted murder.

It’s official: Men really are the weaker sex

Evolution is being distorted by pollution, which damages genitals and the ability to father offspring, says new study. Geoffrey Lean reports

The male gender is in danger, with incalculable consequences for both humans and wildlife, startling scientific research from around the world reveals.

The research – to be detailed tomorrow in the most comprehensive report yet published – shows that a host of common chemicals is feminising males of every class of vertebrate animals, from fish to mammals, including people.

Gee, maybe we should cut back on funding of women’s studies programs to do something about this.

Putting girls in their place

This PUA post is about why alpha males are the only ones who can really keep women’s behavior in civilized bounds. Beta males and other women can’t do it.

This makes it all the more important for desirable males to whip girls into shape whenever they get out of control. First, they are less likely to call acceptable acts “misbehavior” because they aren’t competing with the girl, aren’t bitter or resentful — they have enough choices that one girl isn’t a drop in the bucket — and have no genetic stake in how she behaves. Ideally this would be her boyfriend or husband, but even they may not step up enough because they’ll incur a higher cost in the form of a potential strain on the relationship’s harmony.

Women’s suffrage over time By John R. Lott, Jr.

He’s the guy who wrote Freedomnomics, in which he demonstrated how allowing women to vote causes the expansion of government.

Every Feminist’s Nightmare?

Rumor has it that when Professor Walter Block presented a lecture at Loyola College recently in which he argued that free-market competition diminishes rather than exacerbates the male/female “wage gap” the entire College administration, and the majority of the economics department, collectively swooned. There are even reports that they all collapsed simultaneously on the same swooning couch.

The Socratic Ideal of Student-Teacher Sex

A feminist idealizes cougar teachers molesting boys:

But I envy the relationship those Greeks had, back when terms like “statutory rape” didn’t exist. It strikes me as so perfectly symbiotic: The beautiful blank slate of a student takes knowledge from his wise and wizened mentor, and in exchange gives the joy of fresh enthusiasm. And sex. I won’t be so flip as to ask “What’s wrong with that?” (Obviously, there are many unpleasant examples of the Socrates figure taking advantage of someone vulnerable and non-consenting.) But I will say that, in its idealized form, doesn’t that sound kind of nice?

The True Horror in Hitchcock Films

San Francisco’s actual Chief of Police now is an affirmative-action diminutive Chinese-American female from the accounting department who is the laughingstock of the police force. The rate of unresolved murder cases in San Francisco is so high that the city has tried, unsuccessfully, to solicit help by offering $100,000 rewards to people who would come forward with information.

At a loss, the city’s leaders elected what else but a transgender person, Theresa Sparks, as President of the San Francisco Police Commission. Mr./Ms. Sparks’ qualifications for the job consist in his/her managing a vibrator company which was recently running a special under the slogan, “August is Anal Sex Month; 15% off select Anal Toys.”

To bolster this team with some serious dose of law-enforcing testosterone, San Francisco got itself a female District Attorney who bestows additional glory on the city by being half Tamil-Indian and half-black. Kamala Davis Harris refuses to seek the death penalty for murder, which is the law of the land, plea-bargains murder cases, and fails to prosecute criminals arrested with firearms. San Francisco police officers take a dim view of this, what with their own being murdered by criminals that the District Attorney has failed to prosecute. But the need to keep their jobs muzzles their mouths.

Of late, Ms. Davis Harris has made the news due to her office’s failure to prosecute Edwin Ramos, a vicious Mara Salvatrucha gangbanger and illegal Honduran alien, who had been arrested on illegal gun possession charges, and then released instead of being at the least deported. One month later Mr. Ramos would be arrested for the murder of Tony Bologna, 48, and his sons, Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16. The murder weapon has since been linked to two other murders.

San Francisco’s metrosexual mayor is given to utterances like, “You know we’re the only city — I think we’re the only big city in America … there may be an exception or two … that women are running the Police Department, Fire Department and our emergency services. That’s why I feel so safe.”

Women once again demonstrate that they can’t be trusted with responsibility for other people. Allowing women to play at being police officers or D.A.’s is murdering the citizens of the city these women are messing around in.

A blog worth reading

October 23, 2009

Believe it or not, I am capable of feeling respect for a woman. It’s just that so few of them deserve it. Of the few who do, none are feminists.

I discovered Hestia’s blog when she commented on my latest post at The Spearhead. I approved of her immediately; here’s a conservative who is outside the conservative mainstream, a mother who takes child-rearing seriously, a woman who believes that women being strong means women taking real responsibility, working hard, and adhering to principles rather than indulging her whims of the moment. In addition, she’s a homesteader, which I approve of despite being a city dweller myself. (I suspect I’ll spend my retirement puttering in a garden and canning things, making up for these years of apartment dwelling.)

But it was when I discovered her commitment to homeschooling that I added her to my blogreader and commented telling her how awesome she was.

One Hestia is worth a thousand feminists.

Professional Feminism

October 21, 2009

Was just reading Roissy’s latest post, and he linked back to one of his old Beta Of The Month posts, the one about the feminist wedding. I decided to see my or Roissy’s predictions about their marriage have come true yet – I think Roissy is right that she’ll cuckold him, and my own prediction is that she’ll leave him and take him to the cleaners in the settlement – so I went to her profile page.

(I obviously rarely visit the feministing website, so I didn’t know until this evening that one of the “feminists” who rants there calls herself “Professor Foxy”. Boy, does that sound liberated!)

I didn’t find anything about her marriage, but there is a summary of her “career”:

Jessica is a 30 year-old feminist writer from New York. She has a Masters degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from Rutgers University and has worked with organizations such as NARAL Pro-Choice America, Legal Momentum (formerly NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund), Planned Parenthood, the Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO) and Ms. magazine. She is also a co-founder of the REAL hot 100, a campaign to highlight the important work that young women are doing across the country.

Jessica is the editor of Beijing Betrayed, a global monitoring report on women’s progress worldwide and a contributing author to We Don’t Need Another Wave and Single State of the Union (Seal Press). Her writing has appeared in Ms. magazine, Salon, The Guardian (UK), Bitch, Alternet, The Scholar & Feminist and Guernica.

In April 2007, Jessica was named one of ELLE magazine’s IntELLEgentsia.

She is the author of two books, Full Frontal Feminism: A Young Woman’s Guide to Why Feminism Matters, and He’s a Stud, She’s a Slut…and 49 Other Double Standards Every Woman Should Know. She’s also a co-editor of Yes Means Yes: Visions of Female Sexual Power and A World Without Rape

Her newest book, The Purity Myth: How America’s Obsession with Virginity is Hurting Young Women, will be out in Spring 2009.

I guess I’m still behind the times, because I found this utterly baffling. Here’s this dame whose entire life work is walking around being a feminist. That’s it, that’s all she does. She got a masterette’s degree for spending years shoring up her opinions – Women’s Studies is not a real subject, and that there is a major in it just shows how useless college has become, and why I am not impressed that feminists have “made education available to women”. A fluffy fashion magazine has named her an intellectual, with a girly pun in the term. She “works” with organizations that bitch about how unfeminist the world is, and bitches on paper about the same thing. She spends all of her waking hours bitching that women aren’t seen as equal to men.

I doubt she would grasp the irony of that last sentence.

At least Nancy Hopkins, the dimbo who got Larry Summers shafted, has a science degree even if she probably got a guy to do her homework in exchange for sex, and she has some sort of pretense at a science career in between her real career of bitching that women in science aren’t taken seriously. (Her attack on Professor Summers was just one of a long list of publicity stunts she used to convince women who are trying to do actual scientific research that they’re being discriminated against, which oddly they never noticed until she made it up.)

It would just have never occurred to me to make a career out of going around telling people my opinions. Why should anyone care what this baggage thinks? Why should anyone be willing to pay to hear her opinions? This is the feminist idea of a “career” – do what you feel like doing and get paid for it. If she had real achievements of some sort and thought that women needed activism, I would have some respect for her, even though obviously I would still disagree with her completely. But she’s never bothered to make any, because she’s devoted her life instead to bitching at people to share her beliefs and wreck their lives by behaving accordingly. And of course, no matter how careful anyone is, she will find some way of catching them committing thought crimes, because it’s impossible for anyone to actually think the way progressives want everyone to. Even the most rabid blue-stater isn’t that out of touch with reality. So there are always heresies for libtards to root out!

One final amusing note. A few years ago, she and a few other SWPL leftie bloggers got to have dinner with former President Clinton. (What? She gets to meet a former president for a decade of expressing her opinion? I express my opinion, do I get to meet a former president?) She wrote an essay griping because apparently, a lot of commenters made a big deal about the fact that in the photo of Clinton with the bloggers, she had breasts. I skimmed some of the comments and based on the ones I looked at, I think that they were mostly inspired by Slick Willie’s reputation as a lecher, though really that means that putting a fairly attractive (for a feminist) young woman right in front of him in the photo was a bad choice.

Well, her breasts aren’t small, so unless she was going to wear some baggy monstrosity, she really couldn’t hide them. Mine aren’t small either, so I know what I’m talking about; as a soft butch, I’d rather de-emphasize mine, but surgery’s the only thing that could effectively de-emphasize these. She wasn’t showing them off. Women who think she was have small breasts. If she had been wearing a plunging neckline or something, I’d agree with the people who made a big deal, but she wasn’t; she just has large breasts. Women who are so endowed are under no obligation to conceal the fact from the world, especially since doing so is damn near impossible. Yeah, on that charge I’m defending her. From other feminists, in fact; she and another feminist had quite a catfight over it.

But what I found amusing was, after reading her article griping over Breastgate, I went to Google to see if I could find the picture and judge for myself. I assumed I would have to dig around a lot to find it.

Well, not only was it easy to find, but when I typed “Jessica Valenti” into the Google search box, before I was even done with her last name, Google suggested the search phrase “Jessica Valenti breast”.

Don’t be evil.

Women do not understand work.

October 21, 2009

I was saying yesterday that the demands for paid maternity leave show that women have no comprehension of the purpose of work. Women are designed by millions of years of evolution to entrap men into providing for them while they raise their children, and that’s what they do. They see getting the government to force companies to support them while they’re not doing any work as only natural. Imagine a man demanding that his employer pay his salary for months while he wasn’t working.

Women genuinely don’t understand that the money their employer gives them is in exchange for the work they do.

This is a big part of why women vote for socialist programs. (I’ve had that link in my sidebar for a while, but regular commenter Silly Girl recently gave it to me again.)

It’s on my mind because I was just on the phone with my mother. My maternal grandfather built his own company, made it by the sweat of his brow. I refuse to give credit for the things I have to imaginary feminist heroines; most of what I have, I owe to my grandfathers, who both worked their butts off.

It’s a small company, but it provided well for us. When Granddad was too old to keep running it, his only son took it over. My uncle ran it for several years after my grandfather died, until he himself died; he was too young to die, but he developed a major illness and lost his fight with it.

My uncle was married to an idiot woman who drives me up the wall. She is a flaming pinko. She worships Obama. She adored Clinton. She hates America and never hesitates to say so, though oddly enough she’s still here. And she worked, until her recent retirement, at a modestly paying government job. Meanwhile, the money my uncle made running his father’s company paid for her to travel to Europe every summer and decorate the house with piles of expensive knick-knacks. You wouldn’t believe some of the expensive crap she bought. She can’t cook at all, so they ate out literally every night. I was at her house a couple of years ago and she showed me the new bed she had bought. She told me how much it had cost, which was several thousand dollars, and then justified it by saying that she had been lusting after it for over a year and then one day discovered that it was on sale.

I didn’t find this out until fairly recently, because the younger generation is often kept out of this kind of dirty family laundry, but when my uncle was alive, he frequently had to borrow money from his father to make ends meet because of her extravagance. This was horribly humiliating to him and apparently he regularly told her to stop doing it, but to no avail.

For years their votes cancelled each other out. He would vote Republican – for the party that at least tries to preserve some capitalism and property rights – and she would vote Democrat. In other words, all those years she was voting against the freedom that made the luxury she lived in possible.

You’re probably wondering why he put up with it. He loved her. I don’t know why, but the heart has its own reasons. She wasn’t a very good wife, but he loved her anyway. This is why I’m always cordial to her even though I can’t stand her, out of respect for his memory.

Well, now that the Democrat socialist programs she spent all those years voting for have finally succeeded in destroying the economy, my grandfather’s company is dwindling away. There’s very little business, so she’s not getting much money out of it. Some of the employees had to be laid off. It’s only a matter of time before it has to be closed down.

She’s really dumb, so I’m sure she has zero comprehension that it’s her own crowd that have brought this about.

My uncle’s death hit us all really hard. He was a prince among men, and he was much too young to die. (I wish I could have given him my health.)

But my mother was just saying that she’s glad that he died before their father’s company went downhill like this. After all those years of work, for him or my grandfather to see this happen would have been terrible for them.

And my aunt, a civil service parasite who never did a lick of productive work in her life, couldn’t possibly understand what it would mean to them. Yet, she and millions like her were allowed a say in the policies which are now destroying what so many men like my grandfather and uncle worked so hard for so long to build.

In simple decency to men, we can’t allow women the privilege of voting for people who will destroy their life’s work. Even women they love.
